Hey Everyone! Today I’m bringing you some of my absolute FAVES when it comes to pageant products. From the best self-tanner on the market, to the most gorgeous false lashes, these are my go-to’s for every pageant. If you don’t have these products, you’ll definitely want to add them to your pageant arsenal. Without further adieu, let’s get started!

PS. If you haven’t already watched my latest video with tips on how to prepare for a pageant, you should totally check that out. Good stuff.

(in no particular order)

1. Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso

baked blush

At a whopping $8.50, this blush is both affordable and luxurious. You can find this baby at your nearest drugstore, along with many other awesome blushes by Milani. This one is ideal for pageantry because the shimmer in it will add a dewy glow to your skin. Also, it blends easily and the color is very natural so it’s great for many skin tones. Now if you’ve done pageants before, you may be familiar with the “no glitter rule.” Basically, glitter looks awful on stage and it’s something you should try to steer clear of. This blush abides that rule because while it is shimmery, it is not glittery. I seriously take this blush with me everywhere!

2. St. Tropez Dark Self- Tanning Mousse

tanning

If you’re into spray tanning before a pageant (which you should be), you need this product in your life. This one is definitely a bit more pricey compared to other drugstore self-tanners, BUT it’s so so so worth it. Simply apply in circular motions using a tanning mitt and wait a couple of hours. It doesn’t leave you orange- it’s the most natural tan ever. If you struggle with other drugstore tanners, you should give this one a whirl. Mine has lasted me over a year and I use it regularly.

3.  Crest 3D Whitening Strips

THESE ARE HOLY GRAIL. About a month out, I will begin using these whitening strips regularly and giiiiiiiirl let me tell you, they work. I drink ungodly amounts of coffee everyday, but after using these strips you would never know it! And since a stunning pearly smile is necessary for pageant weekend, I always keep these stocked.

4. Tarte Pure Maracuja Oil

oil

The Tarte Pure Maracuja Oil is a new obsession of mine because of how extremely versatile it is. If you want product that serves multiple purposes well, I highly recommend this. I use it every night on my face for intense moisture, as well as mixed in with my foundation for lighter coverage. Other ways to use this oil include: on your cuticles and hands, on your hair, or on your body. Another bonus- this stuff smells amazing. Whether you apply this to your legs before swimsuit competition or rub it on the ends of your hair before interview, you will not be disappointed!

5. Ardell Demi Wispies False Lashes

eyelashes

I probably have about 30 pairs of these. No joke. They work perfectly for on- stage because while they are considered “natural”, they are still super voluminous and glamourous. And they are under $5, so it’s a win in my book.

6. Dove Spray Deodorant

deoderant

Spray deodorant is also a newer discovery of mine. I have yet to use it for a pageant, but I know it will come in handy for lots of us pageant girls! I love the idea of spraying deodorant rather than using a stick because you avoid those gross white clumps. I mean, can you imagine how embarrassing it would be to win the pageant, go for your first “royal wave”, and have those deodorant chunks under your pits?! Not cute. Save yourself from sweaty underarms and give this a try.

7. Rock Your Hair Mega Volume Super Firm Hairspray

rock your hair

To get perfect pageant hair, you’ll need a hairspray that will give you volume and hold. This one, by Rock Your Hair, is my favorite to use. All you have to do is spray a little after your hair is curled and after you back-comb. You can often find this brand at stores like TJ Maxx for cheaper than the original price, so  be on the lookout for that!

8. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer

concealer

This is another product that I would consider holy grail, meaning that I use this every single day without fail, and have repurchased this for years. It’s full coverage, so any dark circles or blemishes you have will be fully concealed. Also, it’s great for brightening and highlighting any areas you want to bring forward. If you have never tried this, you NEED to give it a go. There’s a reason it’s a cult favorite among beauty bloggers and Youtubers.

9. Organic Raw Kombucha

kombucha

Although these are more of a food item than a product, I just couldn’t leave them out. Kombucha is a beverage I swear by because it contains live cultures that help with gut health. Before a pageant, you’ll want your tummy as flat and healthy as possible, and these drinks are great because the probiotics in them will flush out any toxins left in your stomach. I actually love the taste of these as well. My favorite flavors are original and ginger. Drink half of one a day, two weeks before the pageant and you will notice a difference!

**Another great idea is to start taking a daily probiotic supplement. These have helped dramatically with my stomach bloating.

10. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12- Hour Full Coverage Foundation

foundation

I’m probably most excited to share this one with you. If there’s one thing on this list that you absolutely NEED for pageant makeup, it’s this foundation. The price is steep, I will admit. However, I’ve had this foundation for over a year and it’s nowhere near empty. The formula of this product is perfection- it is as full coverage as they say and it really does last 12 hours, which you need for those long pageant nights. No exaggeration, when I wear this foundation, I ALWAYS get compliments on how beautiful my skin is. Note that I didn’t say people compliment me on how great my makeup looks- they mention that my skin is flawless- because while it is a thicker formula, it looks very natural on the skin. I would highly recommend applying it using a beauty blender. Also, if you’re initially turned off by the thick consistency, try mixing it with your moisturizer to sheer it out. For on-stage though, I’d say try to keep the coverage as full as possible! If you’re in need of a new foundation, do yourself a huge favor and test this one out! You will love it.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my Top 10 Pageant Products! If you did, please show me some love and share with your pageant sisters and friends. As always, be sure to leave me a comment with some of your pageant necessities.
